THE PRINT LAB

References you can put to work.

Take a calculation off the screen. Print a known reference, inspect a reproducible arrangement or carry the numbers into your own workflow.

Start with the physical page

The print calibration tool supplies separate 100 mm horizontal and vertical gauges. Measure a print, enter both lengths and see the error in each direction. A known document size and a measured output are different pieces of evidence.

The actual-size print templates provide A6 layouts on A4 and A3, plus a two-up A4 arrangement on SRA3. Each has a PDF worksheet, vector SVG and coordinate CSV. Bleed, margins and gaps stay explicit.

Check how the answer was constructed

The layout benchmark publishes a finite set of inputs, arrangements and independent geometry checks. It distinguishes a constructed feasible count from a proved maximum. Download the results and verifier to inspect those claims.

The paper reference dataset covers nine nominal formats and 81 portrait fit scales. Its source links, units and formulas travel with the downloads. The sources and methods explain the reference's wider limits.

Digital precision and physical uncertainty

A digitally checked 100 mm line establishes the file geometry. It does not establish what any particular printer produced. Keep the paper format and scale settings consistent, make a test print and measure it before preparing a full run. These resources are generated geometric references rather than reports of physical printer testing.

Inspect the image before printing.

Connected tools and discovery studies

Use the calculators in a compatible AI client through a public, read-only MCP interface. The discovery experiments publish three visible content treatments, their comparison guides, and the limits of the proposed AI-discovery methods.
